Medical Assemblages

One of our primary existing contracts is to procure and assemble field medical assemblages, equipment and supplies for the U. S. Army to support their mobilization and "go to war" efforts, including the Combat Lifesaver Bags that are now being used in both Iraq and Afghanistan. These medical assemblages can range from a basic Surgery or Triage and Treatment Set up to a Combat Support or Field Hospital. This includes the use of an extensive database of health care products and equipment that we developed for Department of Defense and have reengineered as a commercial or Government database that we utilize to develop our assemblages for this contract. As a member of Broadlane, a Group Purchasing Organization for medical supplies, pharmaceuticals and equipment, MTS is able to obtain excellent pricing already negotiated with vendors and manufacturers to pass on to its customers. This pricing is equivalent or better than Government-level prices in most instances.
